BR&RA held the Annual General Meeting on 13 November 2024 at Bathurst Showgrounds. Minutes are available in the About section. The entire committee was re-elected.

The road safety petition forms signed by the community are being delivered to Ndlambe Traffic for forwarding to Provincial Traffic.
The Residents and Ratepayers Association is constituted in order to promote the interests of residents and ratepayers in Bathurst and surrounds. We are also concerned that the rule of law and municipal and other services are maintained and developed.
We also seek to see that a balance between economic activity and village life is fairly maintained and reasonably accessible to all, in so doing preserving and enhancing the nature of Bathurst as a rural village.
The BR&RA is entirely manned by volunteers from the community and relies on the support of other volunteers for the successful completion of projects
A good liaison between the Bathurst Residents and Ratepayers Association and the Ndlambe Municipality is highly desirable.
BR&RA will hold an open, informal meeting every second month – January, March, May, July, September – and our AGM again in November.

A suggestion from the Bathurst Striders to create a walkway along the Bathurst stream from Davies to Trappes street is welcome. The possibility of the trail is in the planning stage.

Elizabeth is a retired management consultant, facilitator and trainer with extensive experience working with community organizations such as Improvement Districts and neighborhood watches. She has a keen interest in community development and promoting the sustainable use of natural resources.
Warwick retired from the Financial Services industry with 40 years’ experience. He has an interest in the effective use of the resources available to the residents of Bathurst and conserving the environment.
Clare is a teacher and artist with a strong interest in protecting the environment and finding ways for community members to benefit from local resources.
